My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...It just makes me feel good. I was first exposed to jazz...when I was 12 The first jazz record I bought was...Louis Armstrong West End Blues My advice to new listeners..Just enjoy it.

My House Concert Story

Last night at The Moustache heard the Djangada Trio, playing Brazilian jazz. A keyboard-led trio playing all Brazilian music. It was different from what one normally hears at any jazz recital. No standards. All different rhythms with a really exciting drummer. Look out for them if you want to hear some different jazz. The Moustache must be the smallest club in London. It is in the cellar of the Moustache Cafe on Kirkdale, in Sydenham, London. The monthly concerts are organized by Saxophonist Fraser Smith, who has put on smoe great concerts in this tiny venue.
