My Jazz Story

I was pensioned early, and got a lot of time to kill. As I always had wanted to learn a bit about jazz, this was an excellent opportunity. A friend from our Italian course showed me the first things about jazz, and it grew and grew, until we breath jazz every day now. Together we go to a lot of concerts, in the Antwerp venue Roma. Our prefered artist is bassist John Hébert. We have seen him with Fred Hersch, with Mary Alvorson, with Uri Caine and shortly as leader of his own group.
