Kat Epple composes music for film scores, has released 25 albums, Lectures and performs live concerts
About Me
Kat Epple has released 36 music albums internationally on various record labels as a
solo artist and with various other ensembles. Kat was a founding member of the
classic vintage synthesizer duo, Emerald Web. In addition to performing on standard
flute, and synthesizers, she performs on, and lectures about a variety of indigenous
flutes which she has collected in her travels throughout the world.
Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Kat Epple, has performed music at the
Guggenheim Museums, London's Union Chapel, NYC Museum of Modern Art, The
United Nations, and many other venues around the world. Kat also creates custom
music for television, museums, and film, including National Geographic, PBS, CNN,
Nova, Guiding Light, Hong Kong Science Museum, California Academy of Sciences,
for Carl Sagan, Alliance for the Arts, The Science Network, Imaginarium Children's
Museum, Holocaust Museum, Art of the Olympians, California Academy of Sciences, The
Nature Conservancy and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Her dramatic and provocative scores include a range of styles, moods and
instrumentation, including orchestral scores, native world flutes, dramatic drum beats,
new age ambient, historic period, children's music, space music, electronic, nature and
more.

My House Concert Story
I play many House Concerts and find them very enjoyable. I appreciate the intimate setting, and the fact that the audience really listens to the music performance.
