My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it's an evolutionary entity; it's continually
growing, changing, and reaching higher heights, and all who engages in
it - listener and performer alike - are taken on that path and pattern
of exploration and transcendence.
I was first exposed to jazz when I was rather young, as my father
listened to jazz quite frequently. But it wasn't until I was just a
few days shy of the age of sixteen that I actually engaged jazz out of
my own volition.
I've met Brian Gore, Lulo Reinhardt, Greg Williamson, John Hansen,
John Pizzarelli, and Pat Metheny
The best show I've ever attended was a Pat Metheny concert at Jazz
Alley in Seattle in summer of 2012.
