About Me

The photo is me at a Warm Jets rehearsal circa 1980. I started piano at 6, you'd think I'd be better at it by now! Over the years I've dabbled in violin and guitar, but my main expression is wind synth (EWI4000S or WX7 running into a very sweet VL1-m). Bari sax is a close second. And I'm still hammering away on those keys! I lead ArtCrime, a New York trio featuring Bob Siebert on keys and kalimba, Steve Orbach on percussion and myself. We play free improv, veering wildly between acoustic and electronic mayhem. Check http://www.artcrime.net for more info.
