About this image
Liam Records mascot Liam, and sister Hannah are Cardigan Welsh Corgis—the breed is unrelated to "the Queen's dogs", which are Pembroke Welsh Corgis. No genetic material in common! Both breeds are cow herding dogs and both bred in Wales. "Corgi" is Welsh for short legs. The short legs allow them to duck beneath a kicking cow and the big ears and great hearing let them hear the "swish" before the kick can get to them.
