Mike Khoury
Born in Central Michigan, I studied violin at a young age and switched to electric bass. I played bass in various ensembles from 1987-1999. In 1997, I switched back to violin and have studied extensively since 1999 with the esteemed violinist/composer David Litven. I've had the good fortune to play with musicians from all over the world. My current playing partners include drummer Ben Hall, 'cellist Hans Buetow, reedman Piotr Michalowski and electonisist Will Soderberg. Some of the labels I've recorded for include Entropy Stereo, Public Eyesore, Detroit Improvisation, Foreign Lands, American Tapes, ABZU, Editions Brokenresearch, Friends and Relatives and the Snowdonia label.
