Haeun Joo
She moved to the U.S in 2011 to study at Berklee College of Music where she was offered a scholarship, she studied with Danilo Perez, George Garzone, Joan Brackeen, Neil Olmstead, Vadim Neselovskyi, and Hal Crook.
After she graduated, she moved to New York to go to SUNY at Purchase and studied with John Abercrombie, David Hazeltine, Jon Faddis, Todd Coolman, Doug Weiss, and Ralph Lalama. She has been playing actively, since she moved to New York, in some of the most important venues, such as Dizzy’s Coca Cola, Blue Note, Birdland, and Carnegie Hall, among others.
Haeun Joo went Mexico City in 2019 to play at Zinco Jazz Club and offered master classes there. She is currently living in New York and her debut album is coming out in August 2021.
