About Me
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because I enjoy the freedom to keep changing the pieces depending on my feelings and ideas. I also get inspired by other artists' creativity in their writing and improvisation. I was first exposed to jazz when I was a (probably) high school student. At that time I was into rock and rhythm & blues, but I remember I was so fascinated with the beauty of ambiguous chords, amazing swing feels and improvisation by Oscar Peterson in his album "Canadiana Suite," which my older sister introduced to me.
