I wanted to play an instrument professionally but soon came to realize being a “decent” high school player does not equate to being a pro, at least in jazz. After drifting for some years I finally landed a job in the music industry that allows me to be a pro just not a performer. As such, I've had the pleasure and honor to meet some really nice people and some not so nice.
