Tony Ozuna is an American (from California), living in Europe for quite some time.
Editor-in-chief and co-founder of Yazzyk Magazine, an English language literary and arts publication
which focused on contemporary Czech fiction and poetry in translation (based in Prague).
Studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and University of California, Irvine.
At faculty of Anglo-American University till present.
Contributer to Umelec International, and numerous Prague newspapers and magazines.
Contributor to Jazz in Europe, and All About Jazz.

Tony Ozuna has contributed to Jazz in Europe (print magazine and website) almost since its founding. He
is interested in the evolution of jazz beyond its original soil, and particularly across Europe. Previously to
writing about Jazz, he was a Jazz DJ (Acid Jazz & Nu Jazz) in Prague and Berlin, and San Sebastian, Spain.
He began his lifelong engagement or even ‘dance’ with jazz across all of its genres on the weekly mid-
afternoon college radio program “Mumbo Jumbo” at KCSB-FM in Santa Barbara, California.
