My Jazz Story
I love jazz because I love harmony, nice chord changes, and melodic soloing.
My first jazz memory was seeing Dizzy Gillespie on television when I was 5 years old.
I met Tal Farlow in Philadelphia in 1984.
The best show I ever attended was a concert near Seattle by Boulou and Elios Ferre guitar duo at the 2004 Django Festival NW.
The first jazz record I bought was Light As A Feather by Chick Corea.
My advice to new listeners... listen until you like it. :-)
