About Me
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...it is the most interesting music and allows for
the most creativity
I was first exposed to jazz...when I started playing with a local big
band when I was in 9th grade
I met [musician name]...Grover Washington, Toots Thielmans, Harry
"Sweets" Edison, Maynard Ferguson, Harry Allen, Michael Brecker, David
Sanborn, and many others in my years of performing
The best show I ever attended was...Bela Fleck Quartet at the Biltmore
House in 2011
The first jazz record I bought was...I don't remember...
My advice to new listeners...be open to all kinds of musical
styles...there are great musicians active in all styles!
