About Me
Todd Mosby is an innovator in his field thru instrument design, technique and by
mastering multiple musical forms including classical, jazz and Indian. This broad
spectrum of musical knowledge enables the St. Louis native to create works that are
both highly creative and intelligent.
He is the first and only Imrat guitarist to be included in the famed Imdad Khani Gharana,
India’s first family of Indian sitarists with an unbroken line dating back 500 years. He
performs on the Imrat Guitar to demonstrate its varied capabilities.
Mosby specializes in creating concert chamber music in non traditional venues. His
chamber orchestrations include works for vocals, violin, cello, harp, guitar, piano, bass,
drums, percussion and string quartets.
“My goal as an artist is to introduce new audiences to a hybrid fusion of jazz, classical
and Indian music while creating multi-field performances in unique and unexpected
venues.”
