My Jazz Story
The late bassist, Burgher "Buddy" Jones turned me onto jazz when he was playing in a
Bluegrass band with me in 1975 in Big Sur. He told me about Art Pepper and introduced
me to Art at a gig he played with him in Monterey. I 've been smitten since and At's
music continues to inspire me.
