I love jazz because it is unpredictable and dynamic like the weather.
I was first exposed to jazz my father.

The best show I ever attended was last Saturday
The first jazz record I bought was Herbie Hancock's Funny Valentine.
My advice to new listeners is to enjoy the many facets of jazz.
