About Me

He was born in İstanbul in 1975. He played many jazz concerts in Turkey and Italy, also attended various album recording sessions.

in 2005, with the scholarship he earned within İzmir European Jazz Festival, he studied in Siena Masterclass Summer Course and participated in various concerts. During that period, he had the opportunity to practice and work with many leading musicians of Italy.

With Brunno Tomasso Band, he played in 2005 Valdarno Jazz Festival. In 2006, with his own group EQUINOX, played many concerts in İzmir and Eskişehir. He played his own compositions besides standard and contemporary jazz pieces. Also in 2006, within İzmir European Jazz Festival, he played with the Open Jazz Orchestra formed by Claudio Fasoli and Antonio Zambrini. And also in 2006, made another concert within Kadıköy Jazz Days. By 2007-08 he played various concerts in İzmir and İstanbul, also played in Ankara Jazz Festival.

He attended the workshop of Mark Tuner, who is one of the most considerable and influential saxophone artist of our time and had the chance to make some private lessons as well. Until present, he participated or led a good many of musical projects with musicians among whom are Dave Allen, Marc Miralta, Masa Kamagucci, Kürşat And, Ayhan Öztoplu, İmer Demirer, Burak Bedikyan, Bora Çeliker, Yavuz Daridere, Devrim Yeşilpınar, Onur Puza, Yalım Akın, Ömercan Sakar, Mahmut Yalay, Mario Raja, Bruno Tomasso, Claudio Fasoli, Ettore Fioravanti and many others.

Finally in 2010, he recorded and released his first album “Barcelona” with his group “Tamer Temel Quartet” includes guitar player Dave Allen and made concerts in İstanbul and İzmir.
