I am a prolific composer, pianist and arranger
Tal Babitzky is a composer, orchestrator, arranger and piano player. He is a Jazz Artist born in Vilnius, Lithuania and is now residing in Israel. Babitzky has composed hundreds of instrumental pieces and tunes. He studied at the Jerusalem music academy majoring in composition and he is has graduated from the famous Rimon school of jazz and contemporary music. In 2002 Babitzky released his debut album, Internal Voice, featuring Tal Babitzky Fusion Band. The band is currently touring in Israel and playing major jazz clubs and festivals. In 2003 he released his second album, On the Move. In the same year he composed the music for I hope you can still dance which is a song he wrote to Irish singer Cathy Jordan, appearing on the compilation CD Simpatico. Babitzky is currently composing, arranging and orchestrating songs to various Israeli artists, spanning across Pop, R&B and Jazz. His music receives noteworthy playtime on National Geographic TV. In 2010 he released an acoustic album named Moments. This album includes 12 original pieces combining a mixture of musical styles and flavors from Europe, America, and the Middle East, serving as a conduit between ancient and modern music. In July 2013 was released a jazz album Behind the Screen. It includes 12 original compositions played by the crème de la crème of Israeli musicians.
