About Me

Steven Parke is an award winning illustrator and photographer. His clients have included fortune 1000 firms such as Warner Brothers, HBO, Discovery Channel, Arista Records, DC/Vertigo Comics, Houghton Mifflin, NBC and well known musicians such as Prince (for 13 years), David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Sheila E. and a host of other musical geniuses.

Mr. Parke was the Digital artist for first of its kind Graphic Novel “I, Paparazzi” published by DC/Vertigo Comics which received a grade of A from Entertainment Weekly. He followed with “In the Shadow of Edgar Allan Poe” the first ever all digitally photographed graphic novel which was nominated alongside Stephen King and IDW’s “30 Days of Night” for YALSA’s best horror novel in 2005. Mr. Parke is an industry pioneer and advocate in the sequential photography technique. His work is featured, but hopefully not seen, in retouch and composite work for DVD packaging including “The Comeback”, “The Sopranos”, “Six Feet Under”, “Rome” and “30 Rock”. His illustration was featured in the NBC Heroes soundtrack packaging. Currently expanding into fine art and art photography, Mr. Parke is also the father to one awesome son. He lives in Baltimore.
