The Stryker / Slagle Band’s latest CD “Keeper” is coming out June 1st. It features the same
lineup: (Dave Stryker-guitar, Steve Slagle-sax, Jay Anderson-bass, and Victor Lewis -drums)
as their last CD “The Scene” which was voted one of the Top Ten CD’s of 2008 by: Downbeat
Magazine, Jazz Times Magazine,Jazz Improv Magazine, National Public Radio, Newark Star
Ledger, and WBGO. Downbeat gave it 4 Stars calling it “A superior snapshot of the
contemporary center of jazz”.
