Slawek Dudar
is a renowned Polish saxophonist, composer, and music educator, currently living and working in Germany. A graduate of the Jazz Department of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, he is a saxophone teacher at the School of Music of the Hofer Symphoniker in Hof

International Performances and Recognition
He has performed extensively in Poland, Germany, France, Austria, and the Netherlands. In 2009, he received
major nominations: the Wrocław Musical Award in the category of “Light Music” and the Gazeta Wyborcza
WARTO 2009 Award. Additionally, together with the Dutch Collective Jazz Quartet, he was nominated for
“Music Lovers’ Hope 2009” by the Music Lovers’ Jazzy Association Melomani.

Dudar has collaborated with numerous internationally acclaimed musicians from the USA, the Netherlands,
Germany, Finland, Canada, Uruguay, and Poland. Among them are Jeremy Pelt, Bodek Janke, Jean Clair de
Ruwe, Boris Oostendorp, Olivia Trummer, Tex Döring, Rainer Glas, Thomas Fink, Max Nauta Simonsen, Dan
Freeman, Louis di Matteo, Adam Bałdych, Jacek Kochan, Piotr Wojtasik, Michał Barański, Łukasz Pawlik,
Dorota Piotrowska, Krzysztof Kiljański, Dominik Wania, Paweł Tomaszewski, Jerzy Główczewski, Artur Lesicki,
Piotr Baron, Zbigniew Lewandowski, Włodek Pawlik, and many more. These collaborations cover a wide
musical spectrum — from jazz to classical and contemporary music, as well as experiments with club music
in major venues in Poland and Germany.

Education and Teaching
Deeply committed to music education, he has taught at the renowned private jazz school founded by
Zbigniew Czwojda, alongside artists such as Piotr Baron, Artur Lesicki, Grażyna Łobaszewska, Zbigniew
Lewandowski, Andrzej Schmidt, and others. He also worked as a saxophone teacher at the Institution of
Musical Schools in Legnica and the private school Kuźnia Talentu in Poland. He is a member of the
TonkünstlerVerband Hochfranken and the Polish Jazz Association Wrocław.
Workshops and Mentorship
He has participated in workshops with world-class jazz artists such as Kenny Garrett, Billy Harper, David
Binney, Don Braden, Paquito de Rivera, Ravi Coltrane, Mack Goldsbury, Ernst Bier, Francois Théberge, Piotr
Wojtasik, Grzegorz Nagórski, Maciej Sikała, Jarosław Śmietana, Włodek Pawlik, Zbigniew Lewandowski, and
many more. These experiences helped shape his unique style and musical depth.
