I love jazz because it is rich with expressive possibility I was first exposed to jazz in my teens at UC Berkeley The first jazz record I bought was Mark Murphy "Stolen Moments" I became obsessed with Brazilian Jazz when I heard Ivan Lins being played on the break of a Pat Metheny concert at the Berkeley Greek Theatre... My advice to new listeners...keep an open mind.
