Sandro Zerafa

About Me

Guitarist born in Malta in 1975. Studied at University of Malta and Lyons Conservatory (France) with Mario Stantchev and Jean-Louis Almosnino. Moved to Paris in 2000. 3rd prize winner at La Defense National Jazz Contest. Regular member of the Nico Gori European 4tet. Leads his own 5tet featuring David Prez, Olivier Zanot, Yoni Zelnik and David Georgelet. Can also be heard with the trio The Jaywalkers and regularly collaborates with drummers Lionel Boccara, David Georgelet and Fabio Accardi. Has collaborated with many musicians including Sebastien Llado, Francesco Bearzatti, Mario Stantchev, Amy Gamlen, Christophe Panzani, Hiroshi Murayama, Yutaka Shiina...
