About Me

I am merely someone who is passionate about music, which in my mind remains one of the greatest creations ever achieved by humans.

Jazz to me is not just music, it is an art form. From the emotional intimacy of Billie Holiday, the concentrated intensity of Charlie Parker, or the commanding texture of a Miles Davis trumpet solo, Jazz comes not only from the soul, but speaks to one’s soul, in a way which cannot be defined by any normal laws of nature. These are the elements and qualities which originally drew me to it, and continue to do so to this day. Because Jazz takes me on an unexpected journey every time, which explains my fascination and addiction this side of cosmology. It has taught me much over the years, and for that I am eternally grateful.
