My Jazz Story

I co-owned Black Fox Lounge, a jazz venue in Dupont Circle, Washington DC which frequently received excellent industry reviews during its five-year run. When the lounge closed in 2015 it had hosted more than 1800 live shows and more than 300 artists. I naturally loved jazz the first moment I heard it. My dad, an amateur audiophile, crooned standards by Frank, Nat, Dean and Tony. I am a classically trained singer but I am energized by jazz.
