Rossen Nedelchev is a New York City based drummer, producer, composer and educator
About Me
Rossen Nedelchev is a professional drummer, producer,composer and educator in New York
City. He has extensive experience performing in a variety of styles, ranging from jazz, R&B,
funk, pop and electronic music. He is currently working in New York, bringing his distinctive
precise and high-energy style to a variety of performing and recording projects.
Currently Rossen Nedelchev is the band leader for the jazz band Alter View and he plays
drums for the 8-time NAMMY award-winning, Grammy-nominated singer Jana Mashonee, the
NYC pop/electronic band The Qualia and the singer/songwriter Aaron Short. He has also
performed and recorded with Stephan Galfas, Alex Saltzman, Elijah Bland and the Soulcentric,
Marre, Mariya, Aaron Short, Foster McGinty, Mia Moth, Mr. Hunter, Marsha Heydt, Blessing
Offor, Nick Lancaster and many more at venues including Carnegie Hall, Bitter End, Rockwood
Music Hall, Kenny’s Castaways, The Pianos and others.
As a producer Rossen Nedelchev has worked on Jana Mashonee’s single Stay With me
Baby(Winner of BEST POP RECORDING at the Native American Music Awards 2013), Mariya’s EP
- Storyteller and single - Walk The Way (feat. WES), Aaron Short’s single - Dignity, Marre’s
album - Sombras de Luz, Alter View’s album - Perception.
Rossen Nedelchev holds a BA degree in performance from New Bulgarian University(Sofia,
Bulgaria) and a Gradute Diploma in jazz performance from the Brooklyn Conservatory of
Music(New York).
