I love jazz because... I was first exposed to jazz watching Duke Ellington Orchestra on TV The best show I ever attended was Kurt Elling with Charlie Hunter The first jazz record I bought was Made in Japan - Benny Goodman Quartet My advice to new listeners - listen to as broad a range of jazz as possible. Or whatever else you have in mind.

My House Concert Story

My big band, The Dungeon Big Band, performs in Newcastle NSW, Australia. Had our last gig August 2024, and we turned 20 years old with a special gig in March 2024.
