About Me

Always striving and never reaching...that's the quest. I am a self-taught musician that performs locally and regionally. Self-taught defined as listening, learning and putting my heart out there.

I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Aretha Franklin, Arturo Sandoval and many local great musicians.

One of my greatest pleasures is to see others make it big because it is great for them and possible for me.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it is such a wonderful combination of structure vs. creativity. I was first exposed to jazz on a NYC rooftop where I caught an earful from an adjacent apartment. I did not know what I heard but knew that I liked it. The best show I ever attended was Dizzy at Fat Tuesday's, 1983, with my father.
