Award winner Robbi K’s beautiful voice has graced TV and radio commercials & live music venues nationwide. She sang back-up for superstars Diana Ross, Jewel, Rod Stewart, Mary J Blige, & Aretha Franklin. Robbi is a storyteller who sings in many languages.

Robbi K's honed her chops performing, recording, & touring with artists Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Aretha
Franklin, Jimmy Owens, Ashford & Simpson, Edie Brickell, Chieli Minucci, Gino Sitson, Bakithi Kumalo, John Hiatt,
Jewel, Diana Ross, Arif Mardin, Deepak Chopra, Rod Stewart, Eileen Ivers, and Harry Belafonte among others. TV
appearances with these artists include Oprah, 60 Minutes, Rosie, The View, VH-1 Storytellers, The Today Show,
and Late Night with David Letterman.
Robbi is a modern American singer that performs stylish contemporary repertoire that appeals to a cross section
of people of all ages and backgrounds. Her concerts include classic Jazz standards and popular favorites for
adults to high-energy, interactive world music for family audiences. As a storyteller and musician, Robbi is a
multiple Parents' Choice Award winner and one of the few African American women to have achieved national
recognition in the field of children’s music.
Robbi K's an artist with an incredible voice, beauty, topped with tons of charisma & charm to win over any
audience. Singing and playing piano since a child, Robbi's been blessed to ride a smooth wave in the music
business singing with a host of legendary artists. As a solo artist, Robbi brings to the stage a level of excitement
coined EnerJazz; giving to her audiences boldly, freely & unselfishly. Her band members are versatile,
extraordinary players who've performed with many music legends themselves. Robbi's personable demeanor is
the essence of her show; first going deep into her own zone then pouring it all out in song. Robbi's larger than
life stage presence and enticingly beautiful voice have given her the opportunity to perform in many settings,
always with great success.
Her theater, film and TV credits include singing on numerous TV and radio commercials are way too many to list.
Her early years in NYC yielded quite a bit of work as an extra on sitcoms, dramas, and films. Robbi's a proud &
active member of (SAG-AFTRA) Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television & Radio Artists, (AEA)
Actor's Equity Association, as well as the (AFM) American Federation of Musicians. She's a voting member of The
National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) - the organization responsible for the Grammy Awards
& she's an active voice over artist as well. As for songwriting, Robbi's a writer/publisher with (ASCAP) American
Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers as 40/Shorty Re:Kids.
In addition to singing jazz, Robbi is very passionate about arts education and has spent the last 30 years working
with schools all over the globe as Teaching Artist of Aesthetic Education. Using the arts as a tool to connect to
curriculum, history, culture, and ethics, Robbi demonstrates her calling in life by her ease of performance and her
love of nurturing young people as an artist. She's a Teaching Artist with New Jersey State Council for the Arts &
NJPAC. As both Teaching and Performing Artist, Robbi has a lot to offer the world!
