My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it's the sound of freedom!!
I was first exposed to jazz by my stepfather, an amateur/semi-professional guitarist in South London.
The best show I ever attended was Bill Frisell's quartet with Ron Miles, Tony Scherr & Kenny Wollesen at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the London Jazz Festival a few
years back...
The first jazz record I bought was My Favourite Things by John Coltrane.
