Richard Goldner

I love jazz because..I was first exposed to jazz by my Dad, Johnny Goldner. dad travelled from Austria, to France, playing there for Josephine Baker, then moved to Buenos Aires, then to Australia, settling on the Gold Coast in 1954. His knowledge and experience with small group and big band got me started. Listening to Buddy Rich, Glenn Miller, Count Basie. Later years I got into Maynard Ferguson, then into the Rock groups with horns like EWF and Chicago, whom I still dig today. Although now not a full time musician I play and record when I can.
