About Me

Project3Tet is a jazz trio project that specializes in original composition and unique interpretations of jazz standards. It is a versatile group that tries to capture the dynamic of a trio through its communication and intimacy, while also conveying the energy of a quartet or larger group through its strong groove and the texture of its compositions. While definitely a jazz group, Project3Tet crosses stylistic boundaries and draws from a variety of genres and other musical idioms, be it rock, pop, or more experimental forms of jazz. All of Project3Tet's members have a long history of making music together and their experience with one another has created a strong trust, anticipation, and ability to take risks among the group.
