My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz.at a summer program in 1968 where another student brought a lot of classic albums with him and introduced me to Miles, Duke, Krupa, et al. Got to see Duke Ellington Orchestra who stopped on campus annually for concerts. Life got better and richer. The best show I ever attended was that Ellington concert. The first jazz record I bought was by Elvin Jones along with Philly Joe.
