Petter Barg is a Norwegian bassist, music educator, and cultural advocate, leading the Travelin’ Big Band and artistic director for Global Gathering Festival.
Petter Barg is a Norwegian bassist and cultural worker. He has initiated projects for children and youth in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Petter is a co-founder and artistic director of the Global Gathering Festival in Jessheim. He also works as a music educator at Jessheim High School, focusing on production management and bass teaching. For 15 years, he has been the conductor and bandleader of the Travelin’ Big Band.
