About Me
Peter Flaire is an aspiring jazzer, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and indie producer. His first album, Sounds Like Jazz, was released in January 2022, and it’s infused with lyrical themes of our times delivered with jazzy tones of tenor sax and upright double bass. From traditional swing to funkier modern rhythms, it’s music with soul that speaks to the heart through the language of jazz. The music is designed to appeal to a wider audience than just fans of jazz and has a more “smooth jazz” pop song orientation with vocals rather than being instrumental and improvisational focused.
Following the release he's busy getting the word out about his music. He successfully created his own website: https://peterflaire.com, where he'll be sharing his thoughts and experiences as a musician navigating the waters of the internet as an independent producer. Wanting more people to experience the kind of jazz we can all relate to, Sounds Like Jazz is only the first of several song releases planned for the near future.
