About Me
Paulo R. is an independent artist born in Lisbon in 1975. He had his first contact with the piano at the age of 7, in the area of classical music. It was after experiencing other instruments and genres. In his adolescence he played drums in punk-rock bands, being the instrument that took to the jazz and the school of Hot Club Portugal. There followed a diversion by the plastic arts and graphic design, always parallel activity. Come back later to jazz and the Hot Club Portugal to complete the Piano course. He also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Piano Jazz by the Superior School of Music of Lisbon.
