My Jazz Story
To me Jazz is the ultimate expression of a musician's art and inner slef
as it melds all that you know and forces you to expand and improvise on
that knowledge in a forever changing format, unlike classical music
where one must stick to some notes on a page, pre-determined forever, as
if you were a robot, no matter how beautiful the outcome of the harmonic
noise. Improvisation is EVERYTHING in Jazz, a turn of phrase, a re-
invigoration of a head and answer to a line put down by another cat on
the stage - LIFE ITSELF.
