My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz when the great pianist, Mel Davis, taught at my school. Later, in 1969, I joined the band he had formed, The People Band. From then
until date I have been involved creatively with the band. Although working in many other groups and also founding the 33 JAZZ record label, the People Band
remains at my creative core.
