About Me
Nick Millevoi plays guitar, writes, and teaches in Philadelphia.
I am a composer, guitarist, educator, and writer from Philadelphia. I am a member of avant-garde punk-jazz trio Many Arms, the new music duo Archer Spade, progressive chamber-pop collective Make A Rising, and Hassidic punk band Electric Simcha. I have also toured with Discord Records recording artist Joe Lally, and performed with Gene Coleman, Glenn Branca, and many others. I composes regularly for my groups and have also composed a series of six improvisation-based pieces called SHREDfest for various instrumentations, a series of solo compositions for 12-string electric guitar, and the soundtrack to filmmaker Aviv Rubinstien's Woman on the Moon. I teach private music lessons in Philadelphia and am a freelance writer.
