I'm a Los Angeles writer/editor who works on different kinds of projects, most of them related to music. I'm writing a film about Colin McPhee, a 20th-century classical composer and jazz critic. I've also edited a composer's memoir and hundreds of stories on Newser.com, some of them about jazz. I also tweet links to jazz and classical articles from here. I joined All About Jazz to edit CD reviews and hear more of what musicians are recording these days (most of my desert island picks date back a while, but when I go to shows, I'm the opposite: the newer, the better!).
