About Me
Myles Ellington Twitty is a trumpeter, bandleader, composer, and arranger from Cincinnati, Ohio. To date, Myles has been fortunate to perform with some of today's most prominent Jazz luminaries like Rodney Whitaker, Bruce Williams, Jerome Jennings, Dr. Eddie Henderson, Pasquale Grasso, Frank Vignola, Winard Harper, the Roy Hargrove Big Band and others. He has also performed at some of the premier venues of the East Coast including: Birdland, Dizzy’s Club, The Jazz Gallery, Carnegie Hall, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center among others. In 2019, Myles made his international debut serving as a delegate for the Sister City Cincinnati-Nancy Jazz Initiative. As part of this initiative, he played with some of the best musicians from both sides of the Atlantic headlining France’s Nancy Jazz Pulsations Festival. In addition to performing, he engaged in community outreach and education working with students from both the Music Academy International and the Conservatory Regional Du Grand Nancy
