Monica Dillon, a songwriter, composer, and perform seeks to change hearts and minds one song at a time.

Monica Dillon is New Orleans native and New Orleans based songwriter, composer, performer, and musician. Most of all, Monica Dillon is a world citizen learning to positive grow and reshape her life and the world around her each and every day. Like many survivors of Hurricane Katrina, Monica, an out lesbian, has learned a lot of hard and valuable lessons about humanity, life around her, and the value of a mere second. With powerful stories to tell and a survivor of Hurricane Katrina having lost everything, Monica, is an out lesbian artist, currently lives in New Orleans. Monica actively shares the realities of life in New Orleans with those still concerned about the recovery of the city. Documenting the first 6 months after Hurricane Katrina, Monica produced, directed, & edited “And The Living Is Easy,” a two-hour documentary, recounting life in New Orleans. With her first cd,
