I started listening to jazz when i went through my mom and dad's LP's when i was a child. They had an eclectic collection and I loved it all, from Ella to Barbra and even Judy and Al Hirt. I like all the comedy records, too, like Mike Nichols and Elaine May and Bill cosby, and Ken Nordine's "Word jazz." Jazz of a different kind. I didn't know i'd be a singer back then but somehow my wish came true and I've spent a good part of my life singing with wonderful musicians. It truly is the fulfillment of my childhood dream.
