I live in Melbourne, Australia. I'm a writer and a jazz listener, and the editor and publisher of extempore, a journal of writing and art inspired by jazz and improvised music.
I first heard live jazz in Sydney in 2001 and soon became hooked, soon realising that I love the stories behind the music almost as much as the music itself.
