About Me
Canadian trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist, Mike Herriott, has performed and recorded
with some of the most recognized and respected names in the music industry including the
Canadian Brass, Maynard Ferguson, Arturo Sandoval, Doc Severinsen, Rob McConnell, Michael
Bublé, and has been heard by billions around the globe playing lead trumpet for the 2010
Vancouver Winter Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Mike has recorded for Universal, Disney, NBC, CBC, FOX, Global, CTV, ABC, Sony, Warner Bros,
and has performed as soloist with numerous big bands and symphony orchestras across
Canada and internationally.
Mike Herriott operates his own recording studio from which he provides composition and
recording services for television and film. In 2013, he recorded an album of original
compositions and arrangements for large ensemble in which he performed most of the
instruments including trumpet, flugelhorn, french horn, trombone, bass, piano, and
percussion.
