The first jazz record I bought was "Bird and Diz", Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. The best show I ever attended was Sonny Rollins, Foxhole Cafe, Philadelphia 1977. I met Stephane Grappelli in a pharmacy in Edinburgh. What a gentleman...."It rains, and I begin to feel like a little flower..."
