About Me

I capture moments of grace and beauty even in the most difficult times. I believe a photograph can create a lasting impression of emotion, curiosity, love and ultimately, hope of mankind. It can help people heal, give them dignity and feel empowered. My photographs reveal insights into the lives of people we wouldn’t otherwise meet. Through my world travels, I have met people from different walks of life, listening to their stories and sharing intimate moments with them. The permission they grant me and the openness they offer me by inviting me into their world never ceases to move me. The soulfulness of my images comes from developing relationships with the people I engage with. I truly believe that even though we may have differences on the outside, inside we are all the same.

My Jazz Story

'CAN YOU HEAR ME?' A TRIBUTE TO SAN DIEGO JAZZ MUSICIANS It’s been an extraordinarily difficult year for the live music industry due to the pandemic. Musicians understand the importance of music as a tool to help deal with the situation we are currently in. This project is to highlight local San Diego Jazz musicians who thought outside the box to help our communities come out the other side of this crisis stronger, healthier, more connected and empathetic than ever.
