About Me

I penned every word on my passionate debut CD “Travel Me”, a musical journey of the heart along the road to self-discovery and self-definition. My follow-up double CD (Jazz and Dance) covers surpising material from the pop, rock, R&B, even the Blues. My original song, “Today is Someday” became the title track and is covered in 3 genres on the two CD's...it's message of hope and renewal is meant to ignite the spirit into action. I'm a native of California, who moved to Chicago a number of years ago to pursue my passion for Jazz, Blues and Midwest Men. That's my truth - woman first, then artist, then many, many other titles and interests. My life is a montage of life experience tinged with pain, poignancy and then personal triumph...my life has been transformed by the gift of crafting ink on paper. A writer, poet, songwriter, now a playwright, my first comedy for the stage “The D-Cup Diatribes” is slated for a Fall 2007 World Premiere in Chicago. Stay tuned.
