About Me

Maurits van Hout is fulltime professional photographer since 2002. He has his own studio and works for several magazines. Since 2005 he shoots concerts and since 2008 mainly jazz. He worked 2005-2012 for Femuz.com a musiczine and since 2011 he is leading his own small jazz based website in Holland: www.jazzphotographyholland.com.

My Jazz Story

I went to New York somewhere in the nineties and ended up in a small jazzclub in Harlem. That's where the vibe started. And it kept on growing.. these days I shot pictures of the greatest jazz artists around the world.
