Mateusz Bliskowski – guitarist, teacher (Department of Musical Art in Słupsk), graduate of the Feliks Nowowiejski Conservatory in Bydgoszcz, specialty: jazz instrumentalism, jazz guitar. Graduate of the Institute of Music of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, major: artistic education in the field of musical art. He was educated by outstanding teachers and leading jazz guitarists, including: Dr. Piotr Olszewski and Dr. Maciej Grzywacz. He took part in many workshops with world-famous guitarists such as John Stowell, Lage Lund and Kurt Rosenwinkel. He is involved in many projects and musical groups as a soloist, accompanist and arranger. He performed, among others: at the Drums Fusion festival in Bydgoszcz; during the 14th edition of the Autumn Guitar Draft in Słupsk; at several editions of the Bydgoszcz Jazz Academy. He played on one stage with, among others, John Stowell, Marek Napiórkowski, Nigel Kennedy, Grzegorz Nadolny, Piotr Biskupski, Krystyna Stańko, Marian Szarmach, Grażyna Auguścik. He is the leader of the trio with which he released the debut album “Imaginary Landscape” together with Grzegorz Nadolny and Piotr Biskupski (the album is available on all music streaming). He is an author of solo album “About Nature'' (available on all streaming platforms). Concert activities mainly include improvised jazz music and jazz arrangements of popular songs. The guitarist specializes in improvised music using the natural sound of the electric guitar. He uses extensive harmonic means and uses the guitar as an independent, solo instrument, similar to the piano. The musical repertoire is based on his own compositions or original arrangements of jazz music standards.
